Established in 1975, Roy Basten Decorating has over 35 years experience in the decorating industry. He is qualified and up-to-date for both internal and external decorations. Attending regular training courses run by Dulux ICI/AkzoNobel he is up to date in the latest painting techniques and paint technologies.

He is approved by Repair Care International to repair and restore wooden windows and joinery using their revolutionary Window Care Dryflex system.

In 1997 Roy was one of the first decorators to join Dulux Select Decorators. This allows Roy to advertise that he is an Approved and offer an optional two year guarantee to his customers with the backing of one of the worlds largest and best known paint manufacturers ICI Paints AkzoNobel

In February 2009 Roy was awarded a Fellowship Status in recognition of over 10 years total commitment, dedication and support for the Dulux Select Decorator scheme

In 2007 "Dulux Trade Select" became the first approved decorator scheme to receive the government endorsed Trustmark accreditation.

In February 2009 was accepted as an approved member of the Bracknell Forest Borough Council Buy With Confidence scheme which is managed by Bracknell Forest Councils Trading Standards Service.

Roy is also a member of the Checkatrade consumer information service that isolates rogue traders.

Roy has TrustMark registration through his association with The Dulux Select Decorator Scheme.
